At The HR Provision, we put the Human in Human Resources and believe in good business's doing good. That's why with each monthly client retainer, we donate £10 monthly to the below worthy causes at no extra cost to our clients!
We believe it is important to provide those in need with better prospects for themselves and their families futures. We have therefore carefully selected charitable causes that provide professional skills to those less fortunate across the globe, so that they can generate sustainable and long term income in order to become self sufficient and self fulfilled!
The HR Provision partners with organisations and schools to provide work place insights to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in London aged 9-16. Workplace visits allow young people to explore the work environment as well as the qualifications and skills required for particular professions. Having this unique opportunity allows the young person to see that any career path is open to them resulting in better prospects for their bright futures! If you would like to open up your workplace for a few hours to provide this valuable insight into your industry and careers on offer, please get in touch with your dedicated HR Provision consultant. All visits will be facilitated by a qualified supervisor and your HR Provision Consultant.
Provide Empowerment To Women To Start Their Own Business
Kenya
So They Can equips women in Kenya with business skills and the micro-finance loan they require to start up and run profitable small businesses to improve their standard of living so they can change their own lives, provide education to their children and create employment opportunities for their communities. Through their learning and practical application women who have benefitted from this project have gone on to open small stores, selling, milk, groceries and chickens. Others have turned their skills, such as weaving and sewing, into products to sell at markets.

A small loan and the right skills can change around women’s lives, and dramatically improve their family’s future. So They Can has empowered over 1,200 women in Kenya through this Women’s Empowerment Program. They are now able to build a better house, pay for their children’s school fees and save a little for their family’s future. These small loans are awarded carefully to each woman/family based on the feasibility of their business plan. Once the person completes the repayment of the initial small loan, a larger loan can be granted allowing the person to grow and scale the business gradually. Many of the loan recipients take on multiple loans until they are in the position to keep growing their financial capacity by themselves and help others in the community.
Provide Young People With Skills For Life
Zambia
Many young people do not complete their education in Zambia, particularly girls. Accessing skills for life provides a 2nd chance and a vital opportunity to gain vocational training, work placement and opportunities to provide for themselves and continue their journey out of poverty. Build It has pioneered a simple yet highly effective model, enabling thousands of unemployed young people in Zambia to secure valuable building skills and other vocational qualifications. Your support allows these young people attend this training and improve their future prospects.

Support young people out of poverty to build themselves into skilled and empowered individuals, so they can earn a decent living and provide for their families.
We provide skills training and work experience programmes, fit to meet the needs of a growing country; bricklayers, concrete workers, carpenters, painters, plasterers, tilers, bookkeepers, store managers, health & safety officers and more. You will support them beyond their initial training, connecting them with employment and mentoring opportunities. You will support these skilled workers to build better schools, clinics, homes, sanitation facilities and much more, in neglected communities. We look to train young people who have had little education, and with a genuine interest and desire to learn new skills to provide a brighter future out of poverty and into work.
Our model also helps to ensure that communities in need of facilities have access to a skilled workforce - resulting in much-improved schools, clinics and homes.
Provide ICT and Internet Access To Students
Ethiopia
Ethiopia is faced with widespread poverty and lack of opportunities, especially for the young. Families struggle to send their kids to public schools with 80 other children in one class, let alone to a school that provides quality education. This project provides free quality education and also encourages digital literacy among the students. Providing access to Information and Communication Technology and internet opens the chance to be competitive in today's digital world.

The St Yared school in Addis Ababa provides their students with high quality education in small classes of maximum 25 pupils. The school strengthens the Ethiopian curriculum with the International Primary Curriculum. Digital literacy plays an important role in this. Teacher have access to iPads and are encouraged to include them in their lessons and additionally, the students get access to ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and internet as well.
Provide Business Loans And Training To Women
Vietnam
About 5-10% of villagers live in acute poverty, and have less than $1/day at times. Mekong Plus typically works with over 2000 households in Hâu Giang province, providing loans, training and coaching so that families can start their own business. Mekong Plus manages to get them out of this situation through 4 to 5 years of training, microcredit, and close coaching. On average, revenues increase by 25% per year, and they double in 4 to 5 years. Your support makes this all possible.

About 30% are single mothers: the husband has abandoned the family, is alcoholic, or had an accident and no longer supports the family financially. We provide practical training & coaching so as to maximize the chances of success.
The first loan is about $100, to be refunded within 5 months (the time to raise a chicken/pig, or to harvest a crop). The next cycle is usually 120%, increasing by about $20 with each following cycle. On average, households’ incomes double after eight cycles and the woman will no longer borrow from Mekong Plus, having had regular coaching on how to care for their livestock, frequent check-ins, and advice on how to borrow from the bank.
More than 7000 households, approximately 35,000 people, have benefited from the program and have escaped acute poverty. Today, another 6,500 new households are in the program.
